Ateneo star Kiefer Ravena is on top of the charts this season for a breakout performance in this 77th season of the UAAP.

The Phenom led the Ateneo Blue Eagles back in the Final Four after missing it last season in a disappointing exit. He headed the Katipunan-based squad with his stellar performance throughout the season where he averaged a league-high 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per ball game. He also showed his defensive prowess and totaled 1.5 steals a game.

The UAAP 74 Rookie of the Year led the race for the highly-touted individual award with 77.6 statistical points (SPs). Behind him in the race is DLSU’s Jeron Teng with 68.2 SPs, FEU’s Mac Belo with 61.2 SPs, while another Blue Eagle, Chris Newsome followed with 60.6 SPs, and UST big man Karim Abdul completing the top five with 57.6 SPs.

Ravena, along with Teng, Belo, Newsome, and Abdul are also set to be named this season’s Mythical Five.

This is Kiefer’s first regular season MVP Award in his career. Though, he has 2 Finals MVP awards under his belt from his Junior days with the Ateneo Blue Eaglets.

Kiefer and the Blue Eagles is currently at the 1st spot in this year’s Final Four along with a twice-to-beat advantage and will be facing the winner of the UE Red Warriors vs NU Bulldogs playoff game on Saturday.
