Falcons still winless after losing against Tamaraws

By Yanzi Eco

The Adamson Falcons failed to soar at the end of the first round after getting pounded by the charging FEU Tamaraws 62-71.

Despite a few solid runs and some good stops, the Falcons fell short once again this season. With head coach Kenneth Duremdes out of action due to family matters, Adamson found it hard to keep up with the fast-paced and high-scoring Tamaraws.

FEU was red-hot from the field throughout the game hitting shots after shots. Although, there were some lapses late in the game, they still managed to get their acts together.

Tolomia had 21 points in 21 minutes of action, while Mac Belo and RR Pogoy contributed with 13 and 9 points respectively.

The veteran duo of Jansen Rios and Don Trollano continues to be the life of this Adamson squad and combined for 33 points and 15 rebounds.

FEU is tied with DLSU and NU with 5-2 in their records. Adamson is at the last seed with 0-7.
