ADAMSON BOUNCES BACK, OVERPOWERS NU

The Adamson Soaring Falcons doubled their efforts to take down the National University Bulldogs, 83-76 on Sunday in the UAAP men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“This is a big win for us just to get back on our feet after going through a tough situation health-wise,” said Adamson Coach Franz Pumaren.

Papi Sarr finally made it big for the Soaring Falcons, as he slowly makes a recovery from a groin injury before and finished with a double-double record of 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Jerrick Ahanmisi and Espeleta added 13 points each for the win.

Meanwhile, Alejandro finished with 25 points with seven rebounds.
