As the fight for the Final Four slots is becoming tighter, the University of Sto. Tomas Lady Tigresses tallied a much-needed win over the skidding Adamson University Lady Falcons, 25-12, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19, March 18, Saturday at the FilOil Flying-V Arena in San Juan.

UST dominated Adamson in the first two sets, but the Lady Falcons led by Jema Galanza fought hard in the third to keep the match close at 20-all. Several reception errors from UST then allowed Adamson to pull away to arrive at set point.

Unfortunately for the Lady Tigresses, EJ Laure committed an attack error that gave the final point to Adamson.

UST quickly retaliated in the fourth frame and did not give any fighting chance for Adamson, finishing the match in four sets.

Team captain Sisi Rondina delivered for UST with 18 points, while EJ Laure chipping in 14 markers.

Jema Galanza once again had an MVP performance, registering another triple-double stats, with 15 attacks, 11 excellent digs, and 23 excellent receptions.

Player of the Game: Sisi Rondina, 18 points (15 attacks, 1 block, 2 service aces)
