Do not count out FEU Lady Tamaraws yet in the final four race as the squad of Coach Shaq shocked the NU Lady Bulldogs, 25-20, 25-13, 22-25, 25-20, to tie the latter at fourth spot, Saturday, February 25 at the FilOil Flying-V Arena in San Juan.

The loss against Ateneo put FEU behind the standings, so this game against the National U was a crucial one for the Lady Tamaraws to get back on track.

Fortunately, the Lady Tamaraws rose to the challenge and dominated the Jaja Santiago-led NU Squad.

After losing the first two sets, for the first time this season, Coach Roger Gorayeb made an adjustment to put Santiago in the opposite. It worked at first as they were able to extend the match after winning the third set.

But FEU was able to adjust in the fourth set to get the much-needed win.

Santiago and Toni Rose Basas scored team-high 20 points for NU and FEU respectively, but it was Basas who got more help with Bernadeth Pons and Jerili Malabanan contributing 18 and 11 points.

Player of the Game: Toni Rose Basas, 20 points
