After leading the Arellano Chiefs for five years, PBA legend Jerry Codinera has stepped down.

He started his coaching job in Arellano in 2013 and has brought Sampaloc-based squad in two NCAA finals  appearances in 2014 and 2016. Unfortunately, Chiefs both lost it to the eventual champions San Beda Red Lions

Codinera finished his Arellano coaching career with a record of 52 wins and 31 losses.

Taking his place as interim head coach is Junjie Ablan.

The Chiefs is currently at sixth place in the NCAA Season 94 with a 4-7 record.
