It’s getting hot in here, so take off all your… oops!
For the upcoming UAAP season 81, people will definitely watch out rookies, star players, power house teams, and of course, the season’s hotties. Aside from athleticism, people (well, most girls) are always on the lookout for these good looking men especially in the men’s basketball.
Let’s admit, there are girls who’ll agree to become janitress if they will be wiping these guy’s sweats. Promise!
Ricci Rivero
First on the list is the former Green Archer and now residing on the Maroons’ camp, Ricci Rivero. Disregarding the rumors and issues about this young man, we cannot deny that Ricci remains to be one of the hottest UAAP players of today.
Last season, Rivero proved it as he dazzled thousands of UAAP fans with his undeniably irresistible charm inside and outside the court. The last time fans went rowdy and crazy about a UAAP athlete was with the phenom couple, Alyssa Valdez and Kiefer Ravena.
Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing much of him this season as he is still serving his one year residency.
Anton Asistio
How can you resist this “eagle-eyed” chinito boy next door? This Ateneo stud will definitely capture your heart with his smile. Trust us, you’ll melt once you watch him and Ateneo Blue Eagles play. But don’t be fooled by his innocent good looks because he can be a three-point machine inside the court. At least, he’s not all cuteness, right?
Philip Manalang
Have you seen this UE star played before? If not, he is definitely a must watch player as he is playing his fourth season for the Red Warriors. Have you seen a type of guy like Paulo Avelino neatness? Well, Philip Manalang is like that even after a game.
This UE Court General will steal your heart all around prince charming like look. He will not only drive balls into baskets but he can also drive his way up to your heart.
Javi Gomez de Liano
Are you familiar with the movie “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before?” Well, UP’s big man Javi Gomez de Liano is like this season’s Peter Kavinsky. Except that Peter plays Lacrosse and Javi plays basketball.
Some might say that they are not really look alike but let’s admit, Javi has brought “it” with his man-ish curls. And come on, with that look, even if he’s not Peter we doubt that you can say no to that.
Matt Nieto
Of course, we cannot forget the Mr. Buzzer Beater himself. Ateneo Blue Eagle’s Matt Nieto. Watching him is like eating the forbidden fruit…you just can’t resist him. And adding to his good looks is his killer daggers inside the court! If you’re a Matt Nieto fan, his three pointers in the recent Jones Cup is still fresh in your memory. With him, we don’t know if you can still ask for more.
Andrei Caracut
Our next guy hasn’t made that much noise last season but that doesn’t mean that we are forgetting to include him on the list. The UAAP season 79 rookie of the year , Andrei Caracut is your typical jock kind of guy. With his swag and charisma, this Green Archer will always shine whether he is on the court or in the bench.
Richard Escoto
Following Caracut on our watch list is FEU’s forward, Richard Escoto. No one can argue with us that he is an ultimate hottie. With that body? Ugh! You’ll definitely thank the universe for bringing him to our lives.
As a matter of fact, he’ll be the perfect companion for breakfast because he already has “pandesals” ready for you.
Renzo Subido
Last but definitely not the least, from being a junior heartthrob to a fine looking college man. UST’s prodigal son, Renzo Subido is back to play again after he lay lowed last season and we are excited to see him again in action and so should you!
Bonus: Kobe Paras
Though he is not yet eligible to play this season, we cannot resist but to put him on the watch list. We can’t deny him the right to be part of this. Look at that face, can you repel that? Of course not! We know that just like us, you can’t wait to see him play for the Maroons in season 82.
