23 June 2019

Hidden Eagle found the necessary second wind to snatch the PHILRACOM Charity Race Press Photographers of the Philippines Cup on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the Santa Ana track in Naic, Cavite.

Bucking a slow start at the gates in the 1300m long run, the horse ran by JA Guce got the opening from the outside down the stretch to get the win in the second race of 2019 PHILRACOM 2nd leg Triple Crown Racing Club Inc. (PRCI).

Coming in second was Speak Easy of JT Zarate who got into the wild finish with Hidden Eagle.

Early leader Lollipop of jockey MA Alvarez wound up in fourth after he was eclipsed by Oasis by MB Pilapil who finished third.

The race raised funds for the PPP’s chosen charities, with the help of the Philippine Racing Commission who operates the track inside the Saddle and Club estate.
