Manila, Philippines – Adamson University is nowhere near stopping their winning ways as they outgunned University of Santo Tomas, 79-71, Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With the win, Adamson kept soaring high as they remain atop the standings with a 3-0 slate, while the Tigers dropped to a 1-2 win-loss record.

The Falcons showed their best defensive play yet as they maneuvered a late run to stop the Tigers from getting the win. Adamson forced UST to 27 turnovers that became 29 Adamson points.

Marvin Lee shot back-to-back points for the Tigers in the third quarter to close in the gap, 40-41. Rookie CJ Cansino followed suit along with Ken Zamora for a 7-0 run that saw them take the lead, 48-45.
