Manila, Philippines – It might have taken a long time, but the Emilio Aguinaldo College finally earned their first win in a hard-fought battle, surprising San Sebastian College in an overtime thriller, 79-77, Friday in the NCAA Season 94 senior’s basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.
San Sebastian dominated more than half of the game, even ending the third quarter with a seven-point advantage, 55-48.
But the Generals surged coming into the fourth and made a run that led to a 69-all dreadlock after Renz-Ivan Gonzales shot his two free throws.
