Coming off a loss where they scored their lowest output in a set in recent memory, the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws ended its two-game skid after quickly sweeping the still-winless Adamson squad, 25-9, 25-20, 25-11, March 12, Sunday at the SMART-Arena Coliseum in Quezon City.

FEU dominated Adamson both in offense and defense, amassing 41 attacks and 4 blocks against the only 14 and 1 of the Lady Falcons.

Adamson continued to struggle in their offense as only four players were able to tally at least a point, led by team captain Jema Galanza who registered 7 points off 5 attacks and 2 service aces.

The Lady Tamaraws, however, continued to be haunted by their unforced errors especially in the second set where Adamson was able to get an early 9-5 lead. They gave 23 free points to the Lady Falcons with their errors all throughout the match.

Chin Basas top scored for FEU with 16 points, with Remy Palma and Bernadette Pons contributing 10 points each.

Aside from the scoring duty, Jema Galanza also carried Adamson defensively, having 19 excellent receptions.
