Manila,Philippines – Team Saints continue their winning ways in the NCAA All-Star game.
Thanks to the heroics of Michael Calisaan, Team Saints proved to be a tough competition to beat as they took a 94-89 win against Team Heroes, Friday at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.
Calisaan boosted his teammates and was awarded with the All-Star MVP after finishing with a double-double record of 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Besides Calisaan, the Saints was powered by veteran Red Lions Robert Bolick, who chipped in five points and Javee Mocon, who had 15 points and five rebounds in the game.
San Sebastian’s Allyn Bulanadi finished with 10 points, seven boards and two assists as Team Saints won for the second consecutive season.
Team Heroes had a hard time without the presence of MJ Ayaay, CJ Perez and head coach Topex Robinson, but Jaycee Marcelino did not disappoint his team.
Marcelino took on the lead for Team Heroes as he finished with 15 points and five rebounds. Ian Alban added 12 points.
