Joshua Pacio made quick work of Pongsiri Mitsatit, forcing the Thai into submission with an armlock in the preliminary card of ONE: Reign of Kings on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The stoppage came at the 3:37 mark of the first round.

After measuring each other out, Pacio finally get the upper hand of the bout as he caught Mitsatit’s leg with 3:55 mins left in the opening round.

The Team Lakay wunderkind then took Mitsait down to the canvas with ‘The Smiling Assasin’ can’t find a way to break loose from Pacio’s grappling technique.

Pacio then rained down punches to Mitsatit, maneuvered to his back, and pulled out a right armlock of Mitsait in what he called the ‘Passion Lock’.

With Mitsatiti can no longer bear the brunt of Pacio’s attack, he finally conceded in the fight.

”I feel awesome. I can’t express the feeling of fighting in front of the home crowd,” said Pacio in a post-fight interview.

“I call that the ‘Passion Lock.’ I’ve tried that move in training and I thought I’d do it here,” he added.

Pacio improved his win-loss record to 12-2 and remains undefeated here in the Philippines.
