The Green Archers stay atop the standings in the UAAP Men’s basketball tournament after causing mayhem inside the court, as they brutally crushed the Growling Tigers, 100-62 on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Archers prevented the Tigers from taking the lead. They pushed their full-court press, making it difficult for the Tigers to score another point.

By the end of the third quarter, DLSU left UST behind with 73-49, and made the biggest lead as high as 41 points.

Ben Mbala still led the team with 18 points and 18 boards. While Jeron Teng and Thomas Torres added 13 and 11 points, respectively.

All the Archers played well for the team, with each player contributing a score, except for Mark Dyke.

Despite a disastrous game, Renzo Subido still played well for his fellow Tigers, leading them with 18 points and 4 assists.

La Salle’s win over UST scored a great amount of records in the UAAP history.

With a powerful team, DLSU’s margin of victory became the highest since the Imperium in 2003 started tracking statistics in UAAP.

It was also the first time that DLSU scored 100 points in a game since 2005 and they had the second largest deficit of victory in the last six years.
