Adamson Lady Falcons improved their game but still bowed down to National University in straight sets, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19 on Sunday afternoon, February 12 at the FilOil Flying-V Arena in San Juan.
It was a strong start for Adamson as they were able to keep up with NU early in the first set but their 14 errors killed their chance of winning the set.
Adamson almost got the second set with a 21-18 lead over NU but they failed to protect the lead with Jaja Santiago in the frontline who scored right away with a block on Bernadette Flora.
Jaja hardly even played but she was still able tolead NU with 15 points off 5 attacks, 3 blocks, and 7 service aces. Whether the National U would be able to continue its dominance will now be tested as they face the defending champ La Salle on February 19.
Player of the Game: Jaja Santiago, 15 points (5 attacks, 3 blocks, and 7 service aces)
