After finishing with a bronze medal last season, the Adamson University Pep Squad came back in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition to bring home the gold – and surely they did.

Adamson stunned the jam-packed crowd of the Mall of Asia Arena as they won their first ever UAAP Cheerdance Competition title on Saturday.

Dancing to the beat of the 80’s and accompanied by the glow sticks from the crowd, the Falcons soared high with their graceful execution of dance moves and thrilling set of pyramids, leaving the sea of supporters from the eight competing universities stunned and in awe of their performance.

The UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe came back to the podium as they nabbed silver after showing off a fierce and daring performance.

UE Pep Squad, on the other hand, also stunned the crowd as they grabbed bronze for their impeccable routine.

Adamson stopped the National University Pep Squad from defending the title for the fifth consecutive year as four-peat champions NU failed to make it to the podium after multiple errors in their routine destroyed their chance from even making it to the top three.

Also, returnee University of the Philippines failed to make it to the podium for the first time.

Meanwhile, the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad won in the Group Stunts Category. Champion Adamson took second place and University of the Philippines grabbed third.
